Time doesn’t wait for cages nor straws
What use is there in being bound in the chains of the past,
Wasting away in a voluntary cage?
And what use is there in grasping onto an uncertain thought of the future?
The only thing you’re grasping for is straws
Before you know it, today is yesterday
When fiction falls apart,
Your visions dissipate
All you have left,
Is the gift you neglect
All this too,
Has passed.
